8pc OBD2 Diagnostic Adapter Cable Set

This 8-piece OBD2 diagnostic adapter cable set allows compatible diagnostic equipment with a standard 16-pin OBD2 connection to be used with older vehicles fitted with manufacturer-specific diagnostic sockets.

The kit contains 7 diagnostic adapter cables plus 1 power cable, covering a range of older BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Vauxhall/Opel, Audi, Peugeot/Citroen (PSA) and Fiat vehicles.

Compatible with OBD2 diagnostic equipment including Delphi/Autocom DS150E and CDP+ interfaces.

Why Are These OBD2 Adapter Cables Needed?

Many older vehicles were manufactured before the standard 16-pin OBD2 diagnostic connector became widely used.

Instead, manufacturers such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Vauxhall/Opel, Fiat, Peugeot, Citroen and Audi used their own diagnostic connector designs.

These adapter cables provide the physical connection between the vehicle’s older manufacturer-specific diagnostic socket and compatible diagnostic equipment using a standard OBD2 connection.

Compatible Diagnostic Equipment

The adapters can be used with compatible diagnostic scanners and interfaces that use a standard 16-pin OBD2 connection, including:

• Delphi DS150E
• Autocom DS150E
• CDP+
• Other compatible OBD2 diagnostic interfaces and scanners

Please note: these cables are adapters only. They are not diagnostic scanners and do not contain diagnostic software.

A suitable diagnostic interface/scanner and compatible software are required separately.

BMW 20-Pin OBD Diagnostic Adapter

The included BMW 20-pin adapter is designed for compatible older BMW vehicles fitted with the round 20-pin diagnostic connector.

It allows suitable OBD2 diagnostic equipment to connect to the vehicle through the older BMW diagnostic socket.

Mercedes-Benz 38-Pin Diagnostic Adapter

The Mercedes 38-pin adapter provides a connection for compatible older Mercedes-Benz vehicles fitted with the round 38-pin diagnostic socket.

Available diagnostic systems and functions depend on the vehicle and the diagnostic equipment being used.

Vauxhall / Opel 10-Pin Diagnostic Adapter

The Vauxhall/Opel 10-pin adapter is intended for compatible older vehicles using the manufacturer-specific 10-pin diagnostic connection.

Fiat 3-Pin Diagnostic Adapter

The Fiat 3-pin adapter provides a connection to compatible older Fiat vehicles fitted with a 3-pin diagnostic connector.

Peugeot & Citroen PSA Adapters

The kit includes both PSA 2-pin and PSA 30-pin diagnostic adapters for compatible older Peugeot and Citroen vehicles.

Audi Diagnostic Adapter

An Audi diagnostic adapter is also included for compatible older Audi applications using the appropriate manufacturer-specific diagnostic connection.

Important Compatibility Information

These adapters provide the physical connection between the vehicle and compatible diagnostic equipment. They do not add vehicle coverage or diagnostic functions that are not already supported by your diagnostic interface and software.

The functions available will depend on the vehicle, diagnostic interface and diagnostic software being used.
